Zürich Yoga Teacher Training

200 and 500h Programs · New course beginning on October 2017

We offer two Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainings in Zürich:

  • 200h Program: Weekly Teacher Training, 3 Monday mornings a month from October to July.
  • 500h Program: 1 weekend a month from October to July.

Our monthly Teacher Trainings are designed to allow the students go, step by step, through the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and gradually taking the student through the five principles of Imagine Academy. The understanding of Kundalini and its processes requires time to meditate, to practice, to experience, to have time for your self. It is a personal journey to your inner self, it is wise to take time to enjoy the road.

We delve into the philosophy of yoga to really understand everything that is there and to be able to incorporate its message into our daily lives. It gives us an idea of what it is to practice yoga and the reason why we are practicing.

Asanas & alignment

Through the practice of asanas and the experience of our physical body, we connect with that intimate and sacred part of us, the soul. We learn about our limitations and our boundaries, we learn to accept them and to go beyond them.

Through the practice of meditation, we are trying to find something called totality or completeness and a sense of peace within. We’ll practice a wide variety of meditations and pranayamas that are found in KY.

A teacher training for your self

Above all else, this training is for your spiritual growth as a person. We all begin with this idea and a strong desire to learn more about the practice that we have grown to love.

Mantras have a special DNA encoded in them. They talk about something special inside of you. In the beginning, it’s not always necessary to understand their meanings, just feel them and enjoy them.

The practice of Kundalini Yoga works with series of exercises (kriyas) that reach certain goals. They are always therapeutic in nature and end up healing us on all levels, both on the physical and the subtle planes.

Our yoga retreats are twice a year and form an integral part of the teacher training. They are held in the mountains or by the lakes and they offer us the opportunity to live together for 3 days and concentrate on our practice.

Learning to teach

We teach from our own experience – what we have felt and what we have learned during the years of our practice. Teaching comes from the heart and reaches out to the heart of the student. So genuine experience and love should be there.

All of our Teacher Training Programs are internationally recognized by the European Yoga Alliance.

About Kundalini Yoga

A combination of physical practice and theory. The techniques of Kundalini have been used over centuries to extract from the inner self of man the ability to understand who he is and what he is capable of doing. The uniqueness of the practice is that it addresses the demands of modern society – full of information and stimulus – allowing us to achieve balance between work and home, manage stress effectively, maximize our creative capacity and understand, perhaps a little clearer, exactly where it is we are headed as individuals. The practice of Kundalini Yoga helps purify and improve the workings of the body –its organs and glands– and helps you define priorities through meditation and mindfulness techniques. The Teacher Training provides a physical technology in its maximum expression, which leads to a connection with our deepest inner self.

A Teacher Training to explore your potential, oriented to:

  • Kundalini Yoga students.
  • Students and teachers of other yoga styles…
  • And anyone wanting to work on themselves and deepen their understanding of their yogic practice.
