40-DAY PRACTICE TO STRENGTHEN YOUR CORE & GAIN INSPIRATION
ONLINE YOGA EXPERIENCE

In Kundalini Yoga we have the tradition of choosing one kriya and practice it every day for 40 consecutive days. For our upcoming experience, we chose the Nabhi Kriya for Prana and Apana, which includes physical practice and meditation.

HOW DOES THE DAILY PRACTICE LOOK LIKE?

Every day at 06:30h CEST, we will guide the class on Imagine Academy’s Youtube Channel, with the following structure:

TUNNING IN: 
Every day we will begin our practice chanting the Adi Mantra and the Mangala Charan Mantra. You may either chant or just listen to it, as a way to set the focus to begin our practice

WARMUP:
During the warmup we prepare the body and mind for the kriya that we will be doing. This part of the practice may either change every day or remain the same, is up to you. If you will be following our guided practice in Imagine Academy’s Youtube Channel, you will notice that every teacher has its own style for this part of the class. If you are going to practice by yourself, use a warmup that sets the tone in the mind and body to be ready to do the kriya with more ease.

KRIYA:
This time the kriya we chose to practice is “Nabhi Kriya for Prana and Apana”.
We will do the same kriya every day for 40 consecutive days. This kriya includes
physical yoga practice and meditation with breath designed to cultivate the inner fire of our 3rd chakra, to then dwell in the power of love of the 4th chakra.

It is a great practice to gain general strength, improve digestion, abdominal tone, and ignite action and inspiration!

RELAXATION:
After the kriya we will lay down in Savasana to relax for 5-11min and let the body integrate the work we have done. It is an essential part of the practice, don’t miss it!

MEDITATION:
After the relaxation we will sit to meditate for 7 minutes chanting the Long Ek Ong Kar (Morning call). The mantra means there is one creative force whose true essence is beyond description. If you don’t know it, you may just listen to it, meditating on your breath.

CLOSURE:
To end our practice and close the space we will chant Sat Nam 3 times.

Guided by Imagine Academy’s teachers from Monday to Friday.
Guided by our students on Saturdays and Sundays.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in English.
Tuesdays and Thursdays in English & Spanish.
